Any full-time student who achieves a GPA of at least 3.6 for 12 or more graded hours or part-time student who achieves a GPA of at least 3.6 for six or more graded hours in the fall or spring semester will be placed on the Dean's List.

Slippery Rock University's Dance Theatre will present "RISE," a showcase of original choreography by SRU dance majors, at 2 p.m. and 6 p.m., Feb. 2 at Butler County Community College's Succop Theater.

Ohio Dominican University has named more than 350 students to its Fall Semester 2018 Dean's List. In order to make the Dean's List, full-time undergraduate students must have achieved a 3.5 GPA or better after taking a minimum of 12 credit hours.

Slippery Rock University has announced its dean's list for the fall 2018 semester. The dean's list consists of SRU undergraduate students who earned an adjusted semester grade-point average of 3.5 or higher, based on a schedule of at least 12 newly attempted and earned credits.

Twenty-one students and four faculty members formed the largest YSU delegation ever to attend the annual meeting of the Midwest Chapter of the American College of Sports Medicine.

Youngstown State University Art students studied abroad in Glasgow, Scotland, creating their own works of art under the instruction of YSU Associate Professor Joseph D'Uva. Their art was displayed in Bliss Hall throughout October.

Youngstown State University students presented the musical "The Addams Family" earlier this fall. Students formed the cast, ensemble and orchestra for the University Theatre production.

The artwork of 10 students earning bachelor's degree in Fine Arts this fall from Youngstown State University is featured at the Fall Graduating BFA Exhibit in the McDonough Museum of Art Nov. 16 through Dec. 7 on the YSU campus. Also in the McDonough galleries will be the MFA Student Exhibition, featuring artwork from four students in YSU's master's of Fine Arts program. Admission is free. The University of Findlay recently welcomed new undergraduate and graduate students to campus for fall 2018.

Ohio Dominican University welcomes students into its Med School Early Assurance Program. Launched in 2013, this highly selective program offers top high school students assured acceptance into the Ohio University Heritage College of Osteopathic Medicine upon the completion of their undergraduate studies. Participants can earn their bachelor's degree and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in as few as seven years.

Ohio Dominican University welcomes 24 new students into its Honors Program. They join 36 existing Honors students, for a total of 60 participants this academic year. ODU's Honors Program is designed to enrich the academic experience of talented and motivated students.

Students who receive a term grade point average of 3.3 or higher while completing at least three courses for a conventional letter grade earn the spring 2018 Dean's Award for Academic Excellence.

Students in John Carroll University's College of Arts and Sciences are participating in Summer 2018 internships that represent a wide range of industries and career fields, including medical research, sports, education, and public service.

Twenty-seven students spent the spring 2018 semester away from BW learning off campus. With help from the BW Study Abroad Center's Independent Study program, students created individualized immersion experiences in Denmark, England, France, Ireland, Japan, Morocco, Russia, South Korea, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland.
